Alyson Annan

With over 30 years of experience in hockey, both as a player and a coach, Alyson Annan is among the world’s elite. As a player, she earned 228 caps for Australia and scored 166 times. She is a two-time Olympic and World Champion, and has been named the World’s Best Player twice.

From October 2015 until the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, she served as the head coach of the Dutch Women’s National Team. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, she was named the Women’s Coach of the Year by the International Hockey Federation. In 2021, she led the women’s team to Olympic Gold in Tokyo.

In 2022, Alyson was appointed as the head coach of the Chinese women’s team. In 2023 they won gold at the Asian Games and qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. In 2023, she was named the Women’s Coach of the Year by the International Hockey Federation.
